Here we have a great example of an early American Flintlock Pistol, fitted with a fantastic brass barrel and fully mounted with engraved and embossed brass fittings. The gun is clearly marked on the lock plate by known maker Halbach & Sons. This maker originated in Baltimore, MD around 1780, and would become famous for producing bronze cannon muzzle style barrels and bronze mountings. A Halbach and Sons pistol can
